Plex Services allow you to send an email to a specific email address, which will then attempt to add any video links you’ve included to your Queue. If you add the email address to your contacts list, that can make it easy to Queue up a video someone shares you on your phone, for instance.
Getting the Email Address
You can get your queue email address from within the Plex Web App. From your dashboard, click the question mark icon next to the Queue:
On the resulting page, you’ll see an area for Add Videos by Email. This includes both your personalized email address as well as instructions on how to use it.
- Send an email to the address above with any link(s) you want added to your queue.
- Add this to your address book so you can easily email links from your iPhone, iPad, Android, or any other device.
Tip!: Click on the email address to have it automatically selected, then all you have to do is copy it!
Creating an Email
For your email, all you have to do is include URLs to the videos in the body. You can add a subject if you want, but it’s not necessary. Plex will parse the email and look for the URLs. Any URLs where it can find videos will automatically have those videos added to your Queue.
Tip!: You can include more than one URL in a single email, so no need to send multiple emails if you have a bunch of videos.
