Region

Choose either Autodetect to automatically choose your region or choose your country Region. Users should typically leave this set to "Autodetect".

Note: Changing this setting does not act like a proxy or VPN. While setting the region to one other than your own will allow you to install channels restricted to that region, it will not make the channel play videos that are region-restricted.

iTunes library XML path

You can enter the full path to the main XML file for your iTunes library. This is typically only necessary if the iTunes library is in a non-standard location.

Note: From iTunes Version 12.2 and later the library XML file is not created by iTunes. You must enable it in iTunes advanced preferences. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201610

Disable capability checking

Capability checking helps ensure that plugins and Channels are hidden when they're incompatible with your Plex Media Server or a particular Plex App that you're using.

Warning!: You should only enable this option if directed by Plex technical support. Enabling this option is likely to result in poor Channel performance in most cases.
