To completely remove Plex Media Player from your Windows computer, first make sure Plex Media Player is not running.
Initiate an uninstall for the Plex Media Player as normal via the Control Panel in Windows.
Then delete the following directory:
%LOCALAPPDATA%\PlexMediaPlayer
OS X
To completely remove Plex Media Player from your OS X computer, first make sure Plex Media Player is not running.
Using the Finder’s “Go” menu, select Go To Folder… then enter the following in the dialog box that pops up:
~/Library/
Delete the following files and folders:
~/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Player/
~/Library/Caches/Plex Media Player/
~/Library/Logs/Plex Media Player/
~/Library/Saved Application State/tv.plex.Plex Media Player.savedState
Delete the actual application itself under /Applications/Plex Media Player.app
Embedded Device (e.g. Raspberry Pi 2)
Nothing really to do except simply format your SD card or USB drive and then use it for whatever other purpose you desire.
