Plex is used by people all over the world and we want to ensure that things are available and localized in their language, whenever possible. We welcome contributions from our amazing community to help improve existing translations and to add new languages so that other users can enjoy them.
How to Contribute
Plex uses the “Transifex” service to handle translations and localization information for our apps and websites.
Publicly Available Plex Projects: https://www.transifex.com/plex-1/public/
You simply need to create a free account with Transifex. Then you’ll be able to contribute to any of Plex’s public projects (linked above) once you join them. You can make translation suggestions and/or contribute by voting good translations up. A translation only needs one vote to become a translation.
Note: Our teams make an effort to pull in new and updated translations for our apps and websites regularly, but it still may take some time for a change or addition you’ve made to be made available in the product.
Some basic info on how to use Transifex as a translator can be found on Transifex’s support site.
